These headshot sessions are designed for clean, professional portraits with a simple and polished look on a plain studio backdrop or at a single outdoor location. A signed photography agreement and non-refundable retainer fee of $100 is due at the time of booking to secure your session date, and is applied towards your session balance. Prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing will be honored at of booking. Booking today locks in current rate. Pricing is non-negotiable. Under NO circumstances are RAW/unedited files available for purchase.
FAQ
Will I get to select the photos that I want from my session?
Yes! After your session, you’ll receive a private, watermarked proof gallery where you can choose your favorite images, based on the number included in your selected package. Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll professionally edit your chosen images and deliver your final, downloadable gallery when they’re ready.
Do I get the copyright/print release?
I retain the copyright to all images, which is standard for professional photography. However, you receive a full personal use license that allows you to download, print, and share your images freely for personal use, with no limits. You will also receive commercial use rights for headshot images. The only restriction is that the images may not be altered or sold without written permission.
What should I wear for my Headshot Session?
For headshots, I recommend wearing something that feels polished, comfortable, and true to you. Solid, neutral tones photograph best and keep the focus on your face. Avoid busy patterns, pinstripes, large logos, or bold graphics. Choose well-fitted clothing with clean lines, and consider layering (like a blazer or jacket) for added variety. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident because when you feel good, it shows in your photos.
I'm nervous in front of the camera, can you help?
Absolutely. I’ll guide you through posing and expressions every step of the way to keep the session relaxed and comfortable. Many clients arrive feeling a bit nervous, but are pleasantly surprised by how easy, and even enjoyable, the experience turns out to be.
Can I bring multiple outfits?
Yes. Outfit changes are welcome and encouraged, especially if you’d like variety for different uses such as LinkedIn, websites, or marketing materials.
Do you retouch the Headshot images?
Yes. Final images are professionally edited with natural retouching to enhance your features while keeping you looking like yourself.
When will I receive my images?
You’ll receive a proof gallery within a few days of your session. Final edited images are delivered within 1-2 weeks after selections are made.
Do you photograph teams or groups?
Yes! Team and corporate headshot sessions are available. Please reach out for custom pricing and details.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable for an outdoor session?
If your headshot session is scheduled to take place outdoors and the weather isn’t ideal for an outdoor session, we’ll make a plan together. We can reschedule, move the session to the studio, or adjust locations as needed to ensure a comfortable and successful session.
Can I have the RAW/unedited files from the session?
RAW/unedited files are not included or available for purchase. They are unfinished files that require professional editing to reflect my style and the quality of work you see throughout my portfolio. Every image you receive is carefully hand-edited to ensure your final gallery is polished, cohesive, and ready to enjoy.
